From the runway, to the silver screen to music videos to hit TV shows, 1920s fashion is experiencing a revival like never before. 1920s is the decade in which fashion entered the modern era. It was the decade in which women first abandoned the more restricting fashion of the past years and began to wear more comfortable clothes. Women threw out the corsets and instead revelled in refined glamour with luxurious fabrics, furs, short hairs and sophisticated dresses with a raised hemline. From 1925 the public passionately embraced the styles associated with the Roaring Twenties.
