Whimsical. Dreamy. Carefree. These are the three words that comes into mind when I think about boho fashion or the bohemian look. With its beautiful prints, flowy fabric and gorgeous beaded handwork nothing says Summer better than the boho look.

|  SUMMER IS...|

Summer to me means blue skies, relaxing at the beach, Christmas, good times with good friends and of course fashion. The last several days here in Sydney has been extremely hot. 40 degrees heat with the sun shining equals perfect beach weather. Sometimes when the weather is as hot as this, I like to wear outfits that are flowy and all white, from top to bottom.

Dungarees. Overalls. Whatever you may call them, there is no doubt that the 90's fashion staple item has made a huge comeback. We've seen it on fashion icons like Alexa Chung and Rihanna as well as on catwalks and on models off duty and bloggers. So it's time for us to rummage through our closet and grab out our own and start wearing the most comfortable piece of clothing that was ever invented in the fashion world. 

Dressing them down is easy. You can pair them with a loose tee or striped jersey and wear your favourite pair of epadrilles or brogues. To give your dungarees a bit of a makeover you can match them with more dressier items like a pair of ankle strapped pumps, delicate jewellery, a clutch and structured blazer.

Much like the leopard, camo prints are unaffected by trends and ever-evolving. You can almost consider it as a neutral item as it matches with so many different shades and prints. Wearing camo prints adds instant toughness to an outfit but it's also easy to dress it up! To incorporate a hint femininity and chic to your camo print, mix and match it with sexy heels and statement accessories.

We have finally said goodbye to Winter and have welcomed Spring with open arms. I'm loving the sunshine, the warm breeze, the bright blue skies and most of all looking at all the colourful flowers that have bloomed in my garden.

Just like my mood, I like to wear clothes that accentuate bright, bold hues in the Spring time. I especially love wearing floral prints and lace cut-outs to mix and match with denim (for a toned down look), or match it with other bold prints (for a more dramatic style). If floral prints aren't really your thing, why don't you invest in a pair of fun shoes? They will brighten up any outfit in your wardrobe and you will be ready to rock your spring fashion with style and confidence!

Distressed boyfriend jeans – they are effortlessly fashionable and trendy. No matter how much we love our skinny jeans that flaunt our figure, every girl should own a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans.

The boyfriend jean is the new comfort and sexy hybrid that ultimately defines what casual chic should look like. You will see fashion bloggers wearing them as well as off-duty models in their street-style shots. There are so many different types of boyfriend jeans, but my personal pick would be a demi-style with lots of rips around the thigh and knee area.  Couple it with a slouchy white tee, a fitted blazer and a  pair of stilettos and you are ready to rock your boyfriend jeans looking uber stylish.

Did you know leather pants are the most regretted piece of fashion purchase among women? 

I don't know about you but I find it so difficult to find the perfect pair of leather pants. They're either ridiculously expensive (I've seen some retailed for around $2000) or after a few wears they stretch out of shape. I've been on the look out for the perfect pair for a few months now and just haven't come across the right one. Now I've just decided to purchase a pair of good quality waxed coated or faux leather-look jeans that fit nice and tight, and are reasonable in price. If you're after a more comfortable option then maybe try leather-look jeggings.

When you're shopping around for your perfect pair of leather-look jeans I suggest your look for 3 key features: 

1. Make sure it has just enough stretch but it's super tight around your thighs and butt area

2. Less shinier the better  

3. Try one a size smaller than your normal size

Red pants can be scary to wear at first but they are a staple item every girl should own in her closet. The key is to find the right shade of red. I personally think the prettiest shade of red is one with a slight hint of orange. If you've never worn red pants before then I suggest you go with a pair of skinny jeans (maybe with a waxed finish). If you're a bit more daring then go for a pair of trousers (cropped or with a slight flare at the bottom) that you can both wear to work or on a night out.

It's gloomy and cold here in Sydney but that doesn't mean our winter wardrobe has to be the same. Keeping warm is definitely key to winter fashion but we can always make that fun and trendy by adding some cool stylish pieces. So what are the key pieces for your winter wardrobe? An over-sized scarf, black opaque stockings, ankle boots, a trench coat and a warm thick cardigan. Just remember, winter fashion doesn't mean wearing dim shades. Try splashing some colour to your outfit by mix and matching dark and bright pieces.
